I got the idea for today’s look from a post on Specktra.net about what eyeshadow colors compliment each other: Slip Pink and Sushi Flower. It also suggested using Carbon, but I do not have that color (and try to avoid straight blacks, still kinda scare me!), so I substituted Well Plumed. Definitely a soft, pretty pink look.

This was also my first time applying makeup under my natural light bulbs I got for the bathroom last night. Definitely a great help! I always use to get out to the car, and see flaws, but now my makeup looks inside what it would outside.

Products (all MAC unless noted):

Face

Prep+Prime Skin Base

Mineralized loose foundation in medium (109 brush)

Redhead Mineralized Skinfinish (168 brush)

Eyes

Painterly paint pot as base (242 brush dupe from Sephora)

Slip Pink e/s all over lid (139 brush)

Sushi Flower e/s in crease (139 brush)

Well Plumed e/s in outer V and as a liner (139 brush for V, slanted Mary Kay e/s brush for liner)

Cloud Bound e/s for blending, and up to brow (272 brush)

Brow Set in clear

Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

Lips

Prized Petal lipglass

This can also be called the “all the discontinued colors” look, haha. Prized Petal was a LE, and I found Slip Pink, Cloud Bound, and Well Plumed at a CCO.
