1 Minute Eyes
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010Today I was in a rush, and didn’t have time to go through my usual makeup routine of multi eyeshadows, foundation, etc. So here’s my “1 Minute Eyes” look I came up with!

Didn’t photograph too well, but it’s a simple and pretty pink-ish look. Just a bit of color to spice up an otherwise boring look! I was thinking how easy it’d be to take something like Contrast, and darken up the outer V, and transform the look, too.
Whew, it’s a new year!

Cakekshop applied all over lid and crease as a base. Warm Chill applied over lid. Satin Taupe applied in crease. Humid used to darken outer V. Vex applied as a highlight under brows. Zero applied to lower waterline.
This was my first time ever using a Shadestick. Cakeshop is pretty… it’s a sparkly beige with some green in it (at least I see some green). Gave an extra sparkle to the shadows I applied over it.

I took pictures of how I packed all of my makeup so I will make a post on my packing tips (all my stuff made the 1800 mile trip in a Uhaul safely!!), and then hopefully resume my looks of the day…
I can’t find my “normal” makeup camera, so I can’t post pictures of today’s look, but here’s a quick pictureless rundown:

- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
- MAC Brow Finisher in Blonde
- Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers
- Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash Mascara
Painterly used as a base. Vex applied all over lid with 239 brush. Trax applied with a 217 brush in crease and outer corner. Magnetic Fields used to darken outer corner and outer half of crease, with a 217 brush. Shroom used as a highlight, 272 brush. Zero applied to lower waterline.
It was my first time using the “dreaded” Trax shadow… and I didn’t mind it! Takes effort to blend it, but it’s not the nightmare that people on the forums make it out to be. I have worse shadows… and it’s a pretty color to boot!
Anyways, this was just my quick “back from the dead” post. Hopefully I will have my desktop up and running soon and will be able to get some pictures up and resume fairly normal operations!
