It was pretty, but didn’t have great staying power like normal MAC shadows do. But I was happy to finally use these shadows, I’ve had them sitting around since last fall!

I really like this look! Amber Lights and Cranberry blend effortlessly together and look gorgeous paired up!

Painterly applied as a base. Amber Lights applied to inner half of eyelid with 239 brush. Cranberry applied to outer half of eyelid with 239 brush, and blended with Amber Lights. Satin Taupe applied in crease and outer V with 217 brush. Shroom used as a highlight. Zero applied on lower waterline.

I rarely line my upper lashes, let alone with Blacktrack, so this was something different. Just felt that it was too plain and needed liner.

Painterly applied as base. Old Gold pigment applied all over lid with 242 brush. Sketch applied in crease and outer V with 217 brush. Sweet Chesnut applied over the top of Sketch with 217 brush. Vanilla used to blend out crease, 272 brush. Retrospeck applied as a highlight with 272 brush. Rockstar liner applied on outer lower lash line, and Old Gold applied under lower lash line with 219 brush.

Foundation applied with 109 brush, then Tahitian Sand to the cheeks with a 168, topped off with the pinker side of the Redhead MSF with a 168.

Painterly paint pot applied as base with a flat e/s brush. Rated “R” applied to inner corners with a 219 brush. Firespot packed on over lid with 239 brush. Passionate buffed into outer V and crease with 217 brush, blended with Firespot. Paradisco used to blend out Passionate above crease, with a 272 brush. Shroom applied as a highlight with a small shader brush. Using the 219 brush, I used Rated “R” to liner under lower lashes on the inner half, and then Firespot on the outer half. Black Russian liner then applied to waterline.

Some thoughts…. Passionate is terrible to work with. I dunno, I just don’t like the texture of it in the pan. Seems like it’s hard to pick up on a brush. But… when blended into something like today’s look, it’s really pretty.

I got a new MUFE mascara. Mine was about 7 months old and drying out so I sprung for a new one. At $22 a pop I try to avoid buying it too often, LOL!

I’ve never been a blush person, I’ll admit that! So I only have 4 “cheek” products, but that’s fine for me because I actually use them.

I really really really like the Mineralize Skinfinishes that I have! I love how they can be sheer or heavy, depending on how they’re applied. My two are from the BBR collection. I originally got Redhead back when the collection was first released last January. A few weeks ago I picked up Blonde at a CCO because I wanted something more pinkish.

Prism I picked up in June ‘07 at a counter in New Orleans (funny how I remember stuff like this, but not what I ate yesterday! Haha). It’s a pinkish-brown matte. Tahitian Sand is from the Hello Kitty collection and I picked it up at a CCO this past summer. I feel like I really have to jam the brush into the product to get any on it. Can I admit that I mostly got it because the compact is adorable?!
