I really ended loving this look! It’s fun, but still in a subtle way. Lime green that’s wearable?!

I think I finally felt like Nice Kitty Lipglass was wearable. Neon pink can be intimidating, but it worked for this look! I really need to try to use my lipglasses more often, they are so neglected 
OK, I couldn’t take not wearing any makeup any longer! I have nothing planned today except for some working out, but I just had to do a look 
So here’s something tropical (tropical to me at least)… to remind me that winter won’t last forever

I don’t do very many teal/blue looks… I guess because they don’t come off as being very wearable… but I definitely like today’s look! It’s fun and playful and doesn’t scream “crazy old lady blue eyeshadow.” Glad I finally gave it a try, and maybe I can try to work in more colorful looks. Neutrals can get so drab

Swatching procedure: My skin tone is roughly a MAC NW20. Swatches are done over MAC Painterly paint pot to provide a base, therefore results may appear different on bare skin.
Photos are taken in my bathroom of the shadows themselves under “Natural Light” bubs which mimic natural daylight. Swatch pictures were taken by a window with natural sunlight.

I didn’t do my face today, a bit on the lazy side and had to get dinner prepared for the crock pot, LOL.
I think all my lipglosses look the same in these pictures, such a shame. Today’s (Spring Bean) is especially cool:
Yes, that’s neon green! But goes on in a caramel sort of shade, very pretty. Not green at all! But then in the pictures my lips look red as always Sometimes the camera works out nicely, sometimes it doesn’t. That’s the case with point and shoots (Kodak M1033). Maybe I’ll have to use my D300 DSLR more often, at least for product shots.
The 217 brush that I got yesterday works out nicely! It does indeed do an awesome job at blending, I think my 272 is whimpering in the brush roll, worried it got replaced
As a final note, I think Humid is one of the MAC eyeshadows that everyone needs to own! It’s such a nice, solid dark green that goes with a lot of things, and blends well. I love it!
