Dare to say it’s wearable?!

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

Blues freak me out. Which doesn’t explain why I have a palette full of pretty blues and teals… I guess they’re so tempting to buy because they look gorgeous, but I always feel like an idiot when I wear them.

So when I saw this combination posted up as a FOTD on specktra.net I had to try it. It’s almost like a neutral look, but still has some color – blue!

I have NO idea what was up with my concealer today… it applied all chunky. So I had to wipe it all off. Not sure if it was due to my brush being uber dirty (today was brush washing day luckily), or if I just sucked at applying it today. So my undereye area looks like poo, just ignore it :P

    Pandemonium Eyes Look

    Sunday, April 11th, 2010

Brought out the colors from the Pandemonium Eyes quad that was out several years ago. I really like these colors in combination (unlike other quads where it seems like it’s just random colors thrown in).

I finally figured out how to use Blacktrack on my waterline… I have to hold it away from my eye and let it dry. That stops it from sticking to my contacts. In one of the pics the Blacktrack on my contact is visible, gross, haha. After I took the pics I cleaned off my contact and put it back in. The good thing is that Blacktrack has UBER staying power on my waterline! I’m in love!!!

Later after work I decided to add some Blacktrack Fluidline to my waterline because I heard it’s awesome on waterlines. Well… ha. It adhered to my contacts, and wouldn’t come off! I ended up having to take my contacts out, putting them in to soak (I think they might be ruined honestly), and wearing my glasses the rest of the day. BUT… it DOES last longer than Urban Decay Zero does on my waterline, so that’s a good sign! I’ll just have to figure out how to apply it and not get it all over my contacts. Did I finally solve my black waterline liner issues?!

I received some new goodies as well from a sale off of Specktra… I got Sunbasque blush and a vial of Teal pigment. All for $15 shipped! I’m pleased. Sunbasque gives me a nice warm glow, and luckily it’s fairly sheer so it can be built. Teal was just an impulse buy, I figured for that price I might as well get it!
