I failed at photographing my eyes today. ?!
This is based off a look I did a year ago in October (I was looking through the archives). Just subtracted the blue color.

So I’ve been a bit behind on updating!! I have two looks to post… unfortunately I didn’t get pictures of my New Year’s Eve look… but it was just my typical smokey purple eye look, just a bit heavier than usual. Also did a few neutral looks without pictures…

Whew, all caught up with stuff I had on my camera!
Swatch of the Day is…
My 8 MAC silver eyeshadows!
MAC Pandamonium Eyeshadow
Description: Smoky grey with silver pearlized pigments (Lustre, Limited Edition)

MAC Knight Divine Eyeshadow
Description: Black with silver pearl (Veluxe Pearl)

MAC Smoke & Diamonds Eyeshadow
Description: Frosty gray taupe (Starflash, Limited Edition)

MAC Silver Ring Eyeshadow
Description: Grey with silver sheen (Veluxe Pearl)

MAC Silverthorn Eyeshadow
Description: Mid-tone gray with silver pearl (Veluxe Pearl, Limited Edition)

MAC Electra Eyeshadow
Description: Silver with icy shimmer (Frost)

MAC Cumulus Eyeshadow
Description: Creamy grey with silver pearl (Frost, Limited Edition)

MAC Idol Eyes Eyeshadow
Description: Silvered violet with gold (Lustre)

Swatching procedure: My skin tone is roughly a MAC NW20. Swatches are done over MAC Painterly paint pot to provide a base, therefore results may appear different on bare skin.
Photos are taken in my bathroom which has “Natural Light” bulbs to mimic natural daylight. No flash is used.

I’m not too sure about today’s look. Reminds me too much of what I did on Saturday for one. And overall it kind of makes me go ehhhh. But this was on my list of combinations to try, so at least I got it out of the way!
Face
Foundation applied with 209, blush with 268. Concealer applied under eyes and smoothed out with 194 brush.
Eyes
Painterly applied as base. Smoke & Diamonds all over lid with 239 brush. Climate Blue blended into crease and outer V with 217 brush. Lucky Tom used to darken outer V and crease with 222 brush. Vanilla as highlight and to blend out crease, 272 brush. Lined upper lashes and lower waterline with Binge, and using a 219 brush, lined lower lashes with Climate Blue.

Just ehhhh…
And I never thought Smoke & Diamonds was so brownish until today. I guess I haven’t used it that much, but I was surprised. So yeah… too much like Saturday and not something that really makes me excited.
Edit – I know what could fix it! I think if I left out the blue, and did just Lucky Tom and Smoke & Diamonds that could look nice! I’m going to write it down for future use!
Boo, my normal camera that I take my pics with had its battery die, so I had to use my fancier point and shoot. It’s flash is really powerful, so I had to take today’s pictures without flash so they don’t look the best.
I got this idea off of macmakeup.net’s list of eyeshadow combination.

god those pictures look like crap!
Also, I feel like lately that the makeup just isn’t “sticking” to me. I’ll apply, and then 15 minutes later it’s really faded??? I don’t know what’s up
It’s getting disgruntling.
