This was my first time using Heritage Rouge, so that’s good! This reminds me of the look I did a few days ago with Old Gold, just the colors reversed.

    Not dead, I swear!

I’m finally moved and getting settled in, but with sketchy online access. But hopefully I can get back to updating! I took pictures of how I packed all of my makeup so I will make a post on my packing tips (all my stuff made the 1800 mile trip in a Uhaul safely!!), and then hopefully resume my looks of the day…

I can’t find my “normal” makeup camera, so I can’t post pictures of today’s look, but here’s a quick pictureless rundown:

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium
    • MAC Studio Touch Up Stick concealer in NW20
    • MAC Blonde Mineralize Skinfinish

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot
    • MAC Vex eyeshadow
    • MAC Trax eyeshadow
    • MAC Magnetic Fields eyeshadow
    • MAC Shroom eyeshadow
    • Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
    • MAC Brow Finisher in Blonde
    • Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash Mascara

Painterly used as a base.  Vex applied all over lid with 239 brush.  Trax applied with a 217 brush in crease and outer corner.  Magnetic Fields used to darken outer corner and outer half of crease, with a 217 brush.  Shroom used as a highlight, 272 brush.  Zero applied to lower waterline.

It was my first time using the “dreaded” Trax shadow… and I didn’t mind it!  Takes effort to blend it, but it’s not the nightmare that people on the forums make it out to be.  I have worse shadows… and it’s a pretty color to boot!

Anyways, this was just my quick “back from the dead” post.  Hopefully I will have my desktop up and running soon and will be able to get some pictures up and resume fairly normal operations!

    I’m so blue…

I called the post office today, and it turns out my package of empty pans were sitting in the back room. Apparently, they weren’t going to deliver them?! LOL. I have no idea, but I guess they’re going to throw them in the mail for tomorrow. So eventually I should be able to press my pigments!

Look of the day – October 24th

    Saturday, October 24th, 2009

In the pictures you can’t really tell I had blue on my eyes, but I swear it’s there! Deep Truth I guess just felt like photographing weird today :(

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium
    • MAC Studio Touch Up Stick concealer in NW20

Decided to try out the shadows that I got last night.  I should’ve been really smart and applied them wet because they would’ve looked a lot more vibrant, but I’m feeling a bit lazy!  So another purple look for this week…

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium

Foundation applied with 209.  (See, lazy day!)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot
    • MAC Devil-May-Care Mineralize Eyeshadow
    • MAC It’s A Miracle Mineralize Eyeshadow
    • MAC Shroom e/s
    • MAC Softsparkled Eye Pencil in Iris Accents
    • MAC Pearlglide liner in Rave
    • MAC Brow Finisher in Blonde
    • Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash Mascara

Painterly applied as base with flat e/s brush.  Devil-May-Care applied over lid with 239.  It’s A Miracle applied in crease and outer V with 222 brush.  Shroom used as a highlight, 272 brush.  Upper lashes lined with Iris Accents.  Lower lash line lined with It’s A Miracle, using a 219 brush, and Rave on the waterline.

    1023closeup

Simple… lazy… bleh.  Haha.  I just know the MES will look so much better if applied wet, but that’s too much effort.  I wish the weather wasn’t so terrible, it’s making me lazy :(

Tomorrow I am heading into NYC to go to the pro store!!  Woo woo!  I’m a bit concerned, however… I want the brush toolbelt but I can’t find it listed on their site?!  I hope I can still buy one, my brush cup is horribly failing at holding my brushes and I also plan on buying about 6 more brushes tomorrow so I need the room and organization!

I also kind of want to run by the Make Up For Ever boutique and pick up a small eyeshadow palette.  Not that I need to depot a whole two shadows, but I love palettes!  Plus they sell nifty metal spatulas, and I’ve convinced myself that I need one for when I start pressing pigments.  I don’t think I’ll run by there, though, but I want to.  I think MAC is going to hurt the wallet enough :(

    Neutral Eye

    Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

I have an advising appointment today, so I decided to try something fairly neutral…

And WTF, I hate applying eyeliner.  How I end up failing at it so hardcore I have no idea.  I did it way too thick today, but I didn’t think I was?!  ARGH

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium
    • MAC Studio Touch Up Stick concealer in NW20
    • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Blonde

Foundation applied with 209, MSF with 268.  Concealer applied under eyes and smoothed out with 194 brush.

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot
    • MAC Expensive Pink e/s
    • MAC Cork e/s

    • MAC Pearlglide Eye Pencil in Black Russian
    • MAC Brow Finisher in Blonde
    • Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash Mascara

Painterly used as base with flat e/s brush.  Expensive Pink applied over whole lid with 239 brush.  Cork blended into crease with 239 brush.  Espresso applied to outer V and crease with 217 brush, blended.  Shroom used as a highlight, 272 brush.  Bourbon applied to upper lash line, and Black Russian to lower lash line.

Sunny eyes for a sunny day

    Monday, October 19th, 2009

Finally the sun was out for the first time in who knows how many days, so I went for something bright. This is off of my “list of must do looks” that I have compiled. I think I really really like it! Yay!

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium
    • MAC Beauty Powder in Tahitian Sand
    • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Redhead

Foundation applied with 109 brush, then Tahitian Sand to the cheeks with a 168, topped off with the pinker side of the Redhead MSF with a 168.

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot
    • MAC Rated “R” e/s
    • MAC Firespot e/s
    • MAC Passionate e/s
    • MAC Paradisco e/s
    • MAC Shroom e/s
    • MAC Pearlglide Liner in Black Russian
    • MAC Clear Brow Finish
    • Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

Painterly paint pot applied as base with a flat e/s brush. Rated “R” applied to inner corners with a 219 brush. Firespot packed on over lid with 239 brush. Passionate buffed into outer V and crease with 217 brush, blended with Firespot. Paradisco used to blend out Passionate above crease, with a 272 brush. Shroom applied as a highlight with a small shader brush. Using the 219 brush, I used Rated “R” to liner under lower lashes on the inner half, and then Firespot on the outer half. Black Russian liner then applied to waterline.

    Lips

    • MAC Valentine’s lipgelee

Some thoughts…. Passionate is terrible to work with. I dunno, I just don’t like the texture of it in the pan. Seems like it’s hard to pick up on a brush. But… when blended into something like today’s look, it’s really pretty.

I got a new MUFE mascara. Mine was about 7 months old and drying out so I sprung for a new one. At $22 a pop I try to avoid buying it too often, LOL!

    Crappy crappy pictures!

    Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

Boo, my normal camera that I take my pics with had its battery die, so I had to use my fancier point and shoot. It’s flash is really powerful, so I had to take today’s pictures without flash so they don’t look the best.

I got this idea off of macmakeup.net’s list of eyeshadow combination.

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium (109 brush)
    • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Blonde (168 brush)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot as base
    • MAC Lotusland e/s all over lid
    • MAC Smoke & Diamonds e/s in crease
    • MAC Vanilla e/s to blend
    • MAC Shroom e/s under brow
    • MAC Powerpoint eyeliner in Grey Utility along upper lashes (I later darkened it up a bit with Black Russian Pearlglide liner, but after I took the pictures)
    • MAC Clear Brow Finish
    • Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

    Lips

    • MAC Fast Friends lipglass

god those pictures look like crap!

Also, I feel like lately that the makeup just isn’t “sticking” to me. I’ll apply, and then 15 minutes later it’s really faded??? I don’t know what’s up :( It’s getting disgruntling.

    October 6, 2009

    Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

There’s a “your favorite eyeshadow combos” thread on specktra.net, and I went through it and wrote down some possibilities to try… here’s my first go!

Nice neutral look! Which is weird as of late :)

    Feline Robbery :(

    Friday, October 2nd, 2009

I go to use my Fluidline today, and realize my 209 eyeliner brush is missing. I fear that it accidentally got thrown away when my brush cup fell into the trash :( Then to top it off… I go to apply my MSF today and realize my 168 brush is gone! I washed it last night, and left it on the counter to dry. I have a very big inkling that when I showered this morning my youngest cat stole it and carried if off somewhere *whimpers* I did a quick search and didn’t find it out in the open. So I’m kind of upset… it’s an expensive brush and I need it! WAHHHHH

On to my look… (oh I hope my application for a MAC Pro card comes through because I need to replace those brushes!)

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium (109 brush)
    • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Blonde (109 brush)

    Eyes

    Monday, August 31st, 2009

    LOL, what’s a makeup blog?!

I’ll be honest, I’ve been lazy… sometimes I just don’t feel like taking pictures, and then posting what I did. Or if I did take pictures, I never ended up posting them…

Today inspired me, though, as it was something a bit unusual compared to my usual mascara only, or “normal” fall backs.

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium (109 brush)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot as base
    • MAC Chrome Yellow e/s inner half, and lower lashes
    • MAC Electric Eel e/s in middle to blend the two colors, and lower lashes
    • MAC Atlantic Blue e/s in outer half
    • MAC Felt Blue e/s in crease
    • MAC Fade e/s to blend
    • MAC Crystal Avalanche e/s to blend
    • MAC Shroom e/s as highlight
    • MAC Auto-De-Blue Technakohl Eyeliner along upper lashes
    • MAC Brow Finisher in Blonde
    • Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

argh, I need to get back into updating this…

    ooo, I like!

    Thursday, June 4th, 2009

Finally I get around to using one of the Cream Colour Bases (CCB for short) I bought at a CCO in March! And I like it! Definitely nice to put shadow over, and it’s been a few hours and still no creasing, so that’s a good sign!

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot as base (Sephora flat e/s brush)
    • MAC Cream Colour Base in Plumed Violet all over lid (242 brush)
    • MAC Up At Dawn e/s all over lid and Plumed Violet, over crease and up (239 brush)
    • MAC Shroom e/s as highlight (217 brush)
    • Urban Decay Zero 24/7 Eyeliner pencil along upper lashes
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

I think it looks a lot better in natural light than the camera made it look… oh well! Definitely like it, and it even looks pretty on it’s own!

Also stopped by my local CCO and picked up Sunset B, Gulf Stream, and Reflects Duo Purple pigment.

    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

    Lips

    • MAC Fast Friends lipglass

    Me = SLACKER!

    Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

So long without an update! :( I have three looks to post… I’ve been slacking on that and on wearing makeup. Very tired lately, and the weather has been crappy, so I’ve been wearing mostly just mascara…

The last two looks (the older ones) I don’t really remember what colors I used, so unfortunately I won’t have full details, just pictures :(

I must try harder at updating and keeping up on this dammit!

    Today’s (well, since it’s 3am… 03/09/09’s) Look:

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in Medium (109 brush)
    • MAC MSF in Redhead (168 brush)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly p/p as base (Sephora flat e/s brush)
    • MAC Electra e/s all over lid (239 brush)
    • MAC Plumage e/s in outer V and liner (239 brush, Mary Kay slanted e/s brush)
    • MAC Shroom e/s as highlight (217 brush)
    • MAC Brow Finisher in Blonde, Brow Set in clear over that
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

    Lips

    • MAC Sweet Strawberry lipglass

    03/01/09
I really wish I remembered what colors I used on my lids… but!!! I did use my liquid foundation this day, with powder so that’s a change!

    • MAC Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation in NW20 (Sephora foundation brush)
    • MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NW20 (E.L.F. powder brush)

I forgot how lovely the coverage is on this foundation is, while remaining light. I’ll have to use it more often…

    02/24/09
Once again, no idea on color, except I do believe that is Humid e/s in the outer V…

Well… that’s all! Just happy I finally got this updated! I can’t slack off on this stuff, my memory can’t handle it!!!

    February 16, 2009

    Monday, February 16th, 2009

Today I was cussing out Stately Black. I think the whole Too Dolly palette hates me, so I’m returning the favor by hating it :(

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in medium (109 brush)
    • MAC Fix+ (2 squirts)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot as base (Sephora flat e/s brush)
    • MAC Too Dolly e/s all across lid (139 brush)
    • MAC Stately Black e/s in outer V (139 brush)
    • MAC Yogurt e/s in crease area (217 brush)
    • MAC Shroom e/s as highlight under brow (272 brush)
    • MAC Romping e/s under lower lashes (219 brush)
    • Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Zero lining upper lashes, blended with Too Dolly
    • MAC Brow Finisher in Blonde
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

    Lips

    • MAC She Loves Candy lipglass

The Romping on the lower lashes was an afterthought, really doesn’t go. Oh well. I’m giving up on the Too Dolly palette for awhile…

    One Lucky Tom

    Friday, February 13th, 2009

First go around with my new Hello Kitty collection products, and I decided to try out the colors from the Lucky Tom palette.

Paradisco is a headache, horrible payoff. I ended up soaking my brush in Fix+ and then glopping on tons of the shadow, then applying. Yeah, yeah… don’t dip a wet brush in shadow…

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in medium (109 brush)
    • MAC Studio Touch Up stick concealer in NW20 (194 brush)
    • MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Redhead (168 brush)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot as base (Sephora flat e/s brush)
    • MAC Creme Royal e/s in inner corner/middle of lid, and around tear duct (Sephora medium e/s brush)
    • MAC Paradisco e/s on outer half of lid, applied wet with Fix+ (139 brush)
    • MAC Lucky Tom e/s just a bit on outer corners (217 brush)
    • MAC Stylin’ e/s lining lower lashes (219 brush)
    • MAC Shroom e/s as brow highlight (272 brush)
    • MAC Brow Set in clear
    • Make Up Forever Smokey Lash mascara

    Lips

    • MAC Nice to be Nice lipglass

I ended up liking the look, very fun. Just getting Paradisco to show up at all was painful. I try to avoid using stuff wet (unless as a liner) as much as I can…

I want to do swatches of everything that I got from this collection, I will try to get that done this weekend hopefully. Unfortunately I want to go back and buy more… like Milk pigment, and maybe that neon pink lipglass. I shall see…

    Do you smell grapes?

    Monday, February 2nd, 2009

ACK!!!! I got to class today, and we were talking about makeup and then I realized it… I FORGOT MASCARA!!! This really bothered me, although I think no one else noticed. But it was so strange :( So… in the following pictures you will notice the lack of my normally long, clumpy lashes, LOL. Besides that, I LOVE today’s look, I am so happy with the Make Up For Ever #92. Such bold, vibrant color that I haven’t found the equal to with MAC (same with the hot pink MUFE makes)

So, even with the mascara mishap, I love today’s look, and I got many compliments, which is always nice, because wearing such bold makeup can be scary.

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in medium (109 brush)
    • MAC Redhead MSF (168 brush)
    • MAC Studio Touch Up stick concealer under eyes (194 brush)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot as base (Sephora flat e/s brush)
    • MAC Electra e/s all over lid (139 brush)
    • Make Up For Ever #92 (”Purple 92″) in outer V, into crease, and as liner (139 brush and Mary Kay slanted e/s brush)
    • MAC Crystal Avalanche e/s in crease to blend the purple (217 brush)
    • MAC Shroom e/s as highlight under brow (217 brush)
    • MAC Brow Set in clear

    Lips

    • MAC Lip Conditioner

So weird not adding mascara onto that list, just seems wrong. When I came home from class I did put some on, whew.

#92 just became one of my all time favorites, I just adore it! And it was a hassle to buy, as it’s been sold out constantly for months, so I am happy I jumped to buy it when it was available online back in December.

    On another note….

On Saturday (January 31, 2009) I did a quick simple look, and took some brief pictures. No face products, just quicky on the eyes so I could go shopping (remember, I am trying hard to use my makeup!)

    Eyes

    • MAC Greenstroke paint pot all over lid, up past crease (Sephora flat e/s brush)
    • Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil in 1999 to thickly line upper lashes
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

Not meant to be spectacular, just trying to play with some new products! Greenstoke is a nice paint pot by itself, I don’t even know if I’ll use it as a base very much, probably just a primary color. 1999 is also a pretty liner, but I am finding the softness of the 24/7 pencils to be a bit annoying sometimes.

I think either tomorrow or Wednesday I am going to use Electra and MUFE #75, which is a neon pink to see how that turns out (I just saw that #75 is no longer listed on sephora.com, oh noes!), to try a look similar to today’s.

    Idol Strokes

    Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Today I decided to give 100 Strokes from “Brunette Blond Redhead” again, and once again, I was pretty disappointed. The texture is just funky, for lack of better description. The color payoff I don’t find to be that great, either… the reddish tinge that you see in the pot just doesn’t show up on me. Just disappointing :(

    Face

    • MAC Mineralized loose foundation in medium (109 brush)
    • MAC Redhead Mineralized Skinfinish (168 brush)
    • MAC Studio Touch Up Stick concealer in NW20 (194 brush)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot as base (Sephora flat e/s brush)
    • MAC 100 Strokes e/s all across lid (139 brush)
    • MAC Idol Eyes e/s all across lid over the 100 Strokes (139 brush)
    • MAC Shroom e/s in crease (217 brush)
    • Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Stash
    • Benefit Eye Bright in waterline
    • MAC Brow Set in clear
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash Mascara

    Lips

    • MAC Lip Conditioner

Instead of Shroom, I kinda wish I would have done a whiter color. But otherwise, I figured out Idol Eyes, being so glitterly, works well on top of another color for a different look.

    Ooooooh & Aaaahhhh

Had to do something quick before class, but didn’t want something boring, so I grabbed this handy duo from Too Faced (gotta admit, I do use non-MAC stuff, too!) and did a classic, subtle silver/black smokey eye look.

    Face

    • MAC Mineralize loose foundation in medium (109 brush)

    Eyes

    • MAC Painterly paint pot as base (Sephora flat eyeshadow brush)
    • Too Faced Ooh & Aah e/s duo (139 brushes)
    • MAC Shroom e/s crease up to brow (217 brush)
    • MAC Brow Set in clear
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

    Lips

    • MAC Lip Conditioner

Just sweet and simple! It was the first day back this semester, so I didn’t want to do anything too crazy just yet (especially when so few girls where lots of makeup to class anyways – I know I didn’t when I was an undergraduate!).

I must say, I like the Too Faced shadows that I do have. They’re really blendable and smooth. When I find myself needing a nice silver, I often reach for the Ooh & Aah duo versus my MAC silvers. Maybe out of habit (I’ve had the Too Faced one longer), or maybe because I don’t have a nice solid MAC black e/s, I am not sure. Definitely not a company to ignore when looking for other options!

    Simple neutrals

    Saturday, January 17th, 2009

Today I was going to cat show, so I wanted simple, “appropriate” makeup, so I broke out the neutrals!

Products used (all MAC unless noted):

    Face

    • Mineralized loose foundation in medium (109 brush)
    • Redhead Mineralized Skinfinish (168 brush)
    • Studio Touch Up Stick concealer in NW20 (194 brush)
    • Fix+ (2 squirts once all makeup was done)

    Eyes

    • Painterly paint pot as base
    • Cork e/s all across lid, up to crease (139 brush)
    • Mulch e/s in outer V (139 brush)
    • Orb e/s blended into crease (217 brush)
    • Shroom e/s highlight under brow (272 brush)
    • Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Bourbon on upper lashes
    • Brow Set in clear
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

    Lips

    • C-Thru lipglass

I am really liking the Urban Decay 24/7 liners! So smooth, none of that tugging across the lid. Definitely happy I decided to order some!

    Ice ice…

    Thursday, January 15th, 2009

So it snowed today, and I decided to just stay home, and be warm and lazy. I wanted to do somewhat of an “icy” look, and try out some of the new colors I have gotten recently.

Products used (all MAC unless indicated):

    Eyes

    • Painterly paint pot as a base
    • Sea & Sky mineralize e/s
    • Aquadisiac e/s
    • Top Hat e/s
    • Shroom e/s
    • Auto-De-Blu Technakohl Liner
    • Urban Decay Yeyo 24/7 Eye Pencil
    • Brow Set in clear
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara
    • DuWop Lash Venom mascara

    Lips

    • Elaborate lipglass

Eyes are “complicated” so I’m going to describe it all here. After painterly, I took the white/blue half of Sea & Sky (I’ll assume it’s the “Sky” portion, so I’ll refer here on out as that) and put it all over my lid, and up past the crease a bit with a 239 brush. After that, I took Aquadisiac with a 239 brush and applied it in a stripe in the middle of my lid. Then, with a 239 I took Top Hat and applied in my outer V, and blended into the crease, and with the Aquadisiac. I then took Sea (from Sea & Sky, naturally) with a 239, and applied that over the Top Hat, and blended well. I went back and added more Sky and Aquadisiac to brighten up the color. Using the 217 brush, I blended Shroom in the crease, up to the brow. Then I took my 219 pencil brush, and applied Sky in the tear duct, and along the bottom inner 3rd of my lashes. Continuing with the 219, I applied Aquadisiac along the rest of my bottom lashes, and Sea over the Aquadisiac.

I then lined my upper lashes with Auto-De-Blu liner, and with my 217 patted some Sky over the line to make it blend in a bit better. Then I grabbed Yeyo from my Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil set I just got today (yay!) and applied it on top of the Auto-De-Blu line on the inner portion where the Sky shadow was, and then around the tear duct, and the inner third of my lower lashes. I topped my upper lashes off with Make Up Forever Smokey Lash, and my lower lashes with DuWop Lash Venom (Smokey Lash is too clumpy to use successfully on the lower lash I’ve found)

Whew, I’m glad I remembered all of that! Definitely a lot more detailed and complicated than I am use to do, but I am time to spare today so I wanted to see what I could come up with.

Yes, wet hair again, lol. Definitely a lazy day! Hence why I also didn’t do concealer/foundation.

So I suppose this came out kinda “icy” looking. Either way, it was kinda fun :)

First it was steamy, now it’s humid in here!

Here’s today’s look, an old favorite of mine that I like to do :)

Products (all MAC unless otherwise noted):

    Eyes

    • Painterly paint pot as base
    • Bitter e/s in inner corner/third of eyelid (139 brush)
    • Swimming e/s in middle of eyelid (139 brush)
    • Humid e/s in outer V, blended into crease, as as upper lash liner (139 brush)
    • Shroom e/s blending in crease, and up to brows (217 brush)
    • Bio-Green e/s lining lower lashes (219 brush)
    • Brow Set in clear
    • Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mascara

    Lips

    • Spring Bean Lustreglass

I didn’t do my face today, a bit on the lazy side and had to get dinner prepared for the crock pot, LOL.

I think all my lipglosses look the same in these pictures, such a shame. Today’s (Spring Bean) is especially cool:

Yes, that’s neon green! But goes on in a caramel sort of shade, very pretty. Not green at all! But then in the pictures my lips look red as always :( Sometimes the camera works out nicely, sometimes it doesn’t. That’s the case with point and shoots (Kodak M1033). Maybe I’ll have to use my D300 DSLR more often, at least for product shots.

The 217 brush that I got yesterday works out nicely! It does indeed do an awesome job at blending, I think my 272 is whimpering in the brush roll, worried it got replaced :(

As a final note, I think Humid is one of the MAC eyeshadows that everyone needs to own! It’s such a nice, solid dark green that goes with a lot of things, and blends well. I love it!
