Soft/neutral look for this day! Still has a bit of purple though

Painterly applied as a base. Trax applied all over lid with 239 brush. Haux applied to crease with 217 brush. Magnetic Fields used to darken outer V and crease with 217 brush. Photo Realism applied as a highlight with 272 brush. 1999 applied along upper lashes.

Time to go to the defense of Trax… what the heck is everyone’s problem with this shadow? It applies fine… sure, not as nice as a veluxe pearl finish one would, but it’s NOT that terrible. And it’s a pretty color? Yeah, I just don’t know. I have my faith in this shadow!

Painterly applied as base. Heritage Rouge spread all over lid and up into crease with 239 brush. Old Gold applied in inner corner corners with 219 brush, and under lower lash line. Magnetic Fields applied in crease and outer Vwith 217 brush. Soft Brown used to blend out crease, 217 brush. Vanilla used to further blend, 275 brush. Shroom applied as a highlight, 275 brush.

This was my first time using Heritage Rouge, so that’s good! This reminds me of the look I did a few days ago with Old Gold, just the colors reversed.
I’m finally moved and getting settled in, but with sketchy online access. But hopefully I can get back to updating! I took pictures of how I packed all of my makeup so I will make a post on my packing tips (all my stuff made the 1800 mile trip in a Uhaul safely!!), and then hopefully resume my looks of the day…
I can’t find my “normal” makeup camera, so I can’t post pictures of today’s look, but here’s a quick pictureless rundown:

Painterly used as a base. Vex applied all over lid with 239 brush. Trax applied with a 217 brush in crease and outer corner. Magnetic Fields used to darken outer corner and outer half of crease, with a 217 brush. Shroom used as a highlight, 272 brush. Zero applied to lower waterline.
It was my first time using the “dreaded” Trax shadow… and I didn’t mind it! Takes effort to blend it, but it’s not the nightmare that people on the forums make it out to be. I have worse shadows… and it’s a pretty color to boot!
Anyways, this was just my quick “back from the dead” post. Hopefully I will have my desktop up and running soon and will be able to get some pictures up and resume fairly normal operations!
