This evening I placed my first MAC order in what feels forever (well, in probably 6 months…)

Just practical, every day items. I am getting tired of the MAC Wipes (mostly the cost), so I am trying the Pro Eye Makeup Remover as a cheaper alternative. The Studio Moisture Fix is replacing mine that is pretty much empty. It’s my main moisturizer in the summer months and on sunny days as a sunscreen for my face. The Studio Moisture Tint is my solution for days when I am too lazy to apply my foundation.

I was going to order the False Lash Mascara as well, but decided I will pick it up in August when I am in New York City at the Pro store. My latest tube of Plush Lash is driving me bananas, so I wanted to see if the False Lash stuff would be better.

I am not sure I need to use Dangerous Cuvée as a base, as it didn’t make a difference. However, earlier in the day I used it as a base for Hypnotizing for work, and it showed through very nicely. I love I Get No Kick as a highlighter, so happy with my purchase.

MAC describes Fluidlines as:

Swatching procedure: My skintone is a MAC NW20 (maybe a bit lighter due to it being winter). All photos taken under “natural light” bulbs, which mimic natural daylight.

Dark Diversion was an impulse buy, but I think I can get some use out of it… if I remember I own it. I hardly ever use my other two Fluidlines I own (Blacktrack and Sweet Sage). Blacktrack is really intense, but works AWESOME on the waterline, despite adhering to contacts and dryness that I’ve mentioned before.

I Get No Kick currently sold out on MAC’s website, and I can see why! I think it’ll be the perfect eye kohl for brightening and highlighting my eyes (besides my usual NC15/NW20 pencil that I use on my waterline). Tomorrow I might use Dangerous Cuvée for both work and then my NYE look. Very excited to play around with these new products! ‘Bout damn time I got some new MAC

Retrospeck I use as a highlight color often. For being a lustre finish, it doesn’t get too messy on my face.

Wow, this is the first time I’ve bought a considerable amount of products from MAC that weren’t everyday use items (foundation, concealer, etc), since this past spring!

Have to wait for the UPS man, which is the sad part, but I got:

Dangerous Cuvée was originally all I was after besides the Wipes, but I saw some looks with I Get No Kick and liked it. And Dark Diversion is just interesting… kind of a stupid purchase since I hardly use liners. Oh well

I’ll have my own set of product photos and swatches once I get my stuff.

I’m just sitting around the house today, so nothing special.  Just felt like having a bit of makeup on.  And using some unused stuff.

So finally MAC is releasing a product this year I am actually really excited for. Dangerous Curvee paint pot! Comes out next weekend, and I cannot wait to order it! I’ve been in such a makeup slump for the last 6 months or so, but this excites me.

Eh, it has potential.

At least I’m using up some of this stuff I’ve had a year or longer, but have never used. I actually surprised myself last time I was in a MAC store a few weeks ago… (MAC Pro in Las Vegas) I didn’t buy a single thing! All I did was renew my pro card. Quite weird… I walked around, but didn’t see anything I couldn’t live without. Plus it was mad crowded, as it was a Saturday evening, so I think that also influenced my decision not to buy.
